Santa paid a surprise visit to a family that has come on some hard times.

They were lucky enough to find a co worker who would rent them a house or they would be homeless

There is a local yahoo group called Spotsylvania community where  a few very generous people came together

to make things a little bit better for some kids

A few of us worked with the parents to make this a night the kids will never forget

Never forget that Christmas is the season of giving, not receiving. Nothing is better than helping others when times are hard.

Santa pulled up in a dirty Silverado (thanks to the white stuff that came this past weekend) followed by two other cars bringing everybody to this house.

The kids were wide eyed to see Santa Clause coming up the sidewalk to their house.

The parents welcomed everybody into the home and Santa went to the dinning room table.

All five kids were brought to the table and one by one they sat on Santa's lap.

Santa asked each one what they wanted for Christmas.

Like most kids, they wanted the latest in electronic gadgets.

Two of the girls wanted another dog and cat. They already have several pets in the household.
